Wings Skoda Challenge
What a fantastic ride it’s been at the Volkswagen Group National Learning Centre (NLC) in Milton Keynes! We’re absolutely over the moon to share that three of our very own have made it through to the Škoda Challenge World Finals in Vienna this September.
Huge congratulations go out to:

- Kieran Slocombe (Sales Executive)
- Bethany Wakefield (Service Advisor)
They aced an intense exam on Škoda brand history and product knowledge, as well as hands-on tasks tied to each of their job roles. Now, they’ll team up with other UK colleagues to face off against top contenders from around the globe—and we couldn’t be prouder.
Whole Wings Škoda Squad Deserves a Shout-Out as everyone who took part in the competition is a superstar in our eyes. That includes Alexander, Dan Davies, Paul Reed, Dean Lovell, Jacob Carty, and Scott Palmer . Each one brought dedication, skill, and a positive attitude to the event, making the whole experience truly memorable.
It wasn’t about just placing in a competition—it was about growth, team spirit, and genuine support for each other. In fact, Nic made sure the entire Wings crew arrived early so everyone could prep together and encourage one another. He even shared a motivational story to get everyone in the right mindset, reminding us that striving for our best is more valuable than any trophy.

Team Training & Personal Development: We pour our heart (and resources!) into helping everyone grow, from apprentices to seasoned pros. Nic, who doubles as our dealer training coordinator, even keeps a stash of personal development books in his ‘Learning Library’ and is always on hand for extra coaching for anyone who needs it
Participation > Winning: We believe that giving it a go is worth more than chasing a title. Everyone who took part gained new insights, built confidence, and helped raise the bar for our whole team. This dedication to continuous improvement isn’t always easy, but it ensures our customers get the very best experience whenever they visit us.
Next Stop: Vienna
